The students have good to excellent English, medical insurance, and spending money. They come from over 40 countries. Some have come on a scholarship that it takes over a year to earn. Those students are chosen for their good grades, good English, positive attitude, and motivation to succeed. We have many students who need to be placed by July 31 and Aug, 8 so they can get their paperwork done and arrive to start school. A family can be a couple with children of any age or no children, a single parent, empty nesters, and single people. The family provides three meals daily, a bed, and occasional transportation. The students have various interests, including sports, volunteering, arts, music, cooking, reading, and many others. Families who host often experience a lifelong relationship. The students are eager to join a family, attend school here, and have their dream come true.
