You can have my Oxford comma when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.
There is a haunted VRBO home that has the ghost of Lucy Gerand.
I absolutely love your column. Highlight of my blog feed. It makes me happy to be part of the island community.
Thank You so much for your commentaries on Island life — You are a treasure! This weeks rundown is absolutely delightfully brilliant!!
Omg! Thank you for featuring my cat Boe! So funny he does look handsome in his collar . They are easy to make so I was going to make some and give away or have at pandoras.
What a fantastic recap!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying these Weekly Rundowns Frank! I hope you come back for a visit someday soon.
Really enjoy your commentary. I’m a former islander, from the 80’s. It’s fun to read about the things that have not changed. Also, the things that have changed. Vashon is like the Shire, a refuge from the real world.
I know this is posting June ’21 is over a year old, but I just did a search today (7/14/22) on Earl the African Grey (at McFeeds?) on Vashon Island and this post came up! I’ll never forget Earl :-). I was one of those women with a deep voice that Earl fell in love with. I wanted to adopt him, however he didn’t like my husband! I hope he ended up in a great home with someone who really loved and cared for him.
I love your writing Anna. Can I share this?
