A 90.0-acre passive freshwater and terrestrial conservancy is located on the west end of Vashon Island off Southwest Bank Road close to Agren Memorial Park. The heavily wooded property was acquired through a joint donation by the Bill Fisher family and a grant from the Washington State Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation (IAC) in cooperation with the Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust.

This beautiful site contains Fisher Pond, the largest freshwater marsh or pond on Vashon Island, which is one stem of the Shinglemill Creek headwaters. The pond and associated wetlands present opportunities for bird watching, nature study, and ice skating when the weather allows.

Public access is permitted on the trail that enters the property from the pond’s southeast edge on SW Bank Road. The forested trail leads to a picnic area on the pond’s northwest corner.

No motorized watercraft or fishing is allowed at the site, no dogs allowed.
