Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope.

The F.O.E. donates more than $10 million a year to local communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of monies raised in the form of grants. Fundraisers are co​nducted for eight major charities, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children’s fund, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund.
Our local Vashon chapter was founded and chartered in 1958. We boast over 600 members and raise money for important island programs such as the Back-Pack Pantry, Dove Project, Senior Center lunches, Blue Bird Medical Transport , Sunshine Mike’s free ride service, Vashon Island High-School Scholarship Program, and many others. We support Vashon Fresh, Fix-it Cafe, and the Vashon Tool Library by allowing them free use of our rental spaces.

The Vashon Eagles puts on free community kid holiday parties for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. We provide a free community Thanksgiving Dinner, and even deliver meals to those in need.
Our organization is volunteer based, to help keep operational costs low and keep the money going to where it should. This means that meals are prepared, drinks are poured, wood is stacked (and so on) by our wonderful members volunteering their time and talents.

We are a bar, but we are also a restaurant and social club. Members utilize their memberships in all sorts of ways; from meeting for a social cup of coffee and having a place to bring their dogs to play, to coming for Karaoke and having a place for a friendly game of Cribbage.
