This 2-week camp will focus on all aspects of video production through a process of small group collaboration on a short film project. Learn filmmaking basics such as the difference between a long shot and a close-up, and how those choices affect storytelling. All students will have a chance to experience working both behind and in front of the camera, learning the various aspects of pre-production, production and post-production, including storyboarding and scriptwriting, shooting and acting in the scene, and finally editing. Each small group will produce their own short film, culminating in a gala premiere of our own mini film festival on the big screen.
