Founded in 1965, Vashon Thriftway is locally owned and operated by the Mathews family.
The goal of the business over the years has been to deliver the highest quality goods and services to the community of Vashon Island at competitive market prices.
Community involvement has been a very important part of our retail business.
Participation in many events, from Little League Baseball sponsorship, Allied Arts, local school events, to helping with the Island Food Bank, Vashon Senior Center and Fireman’s Association — all show our commitment to the friendly, caring, small-town atmosphere we enjoy.

Thriftway is every foodie’s dream. They have gourmet goodies and all the staples you need to stock your kitchen.
If you can’t find a product you just can’t live without, you can submit a special request and they’ll try to stock it for you.
