Balkan Night

VCA presents Balkan Night! A cultural celebration featuring the Seattle Cheta Dance Ensemble, Tamburaški Orkestar Kišobran, Vela Luka Croatian Dance Ensemble, Radost Folk Ensemble, Bulgarian Cultural & Heritage Center of Seattle Bulgarian Voices Women’s Choir, Gino Yevdjevich, Hadjia Hamzić & Mario Butković.
This lively evening will showcase the live music, folk dances, art, and the food of the Balkan culture, which is found in the many diverse countries of southeastern Europe, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, much of Croatia and Serbia, mainland Greece, Northern Dobruja in Romania, and East Thrace in Turkey. Experience the rich traditions of Balkan culture!
This event coincides with VCA’s gallery exhibit Balkan Voices by Martin Koenig. Be sure to arrive early and check out Martin’s work before the show.
