We are a small family farm and wholesale plant nursery on Vashon Island in Washington State.

We are growers of rare and unusual annuals, open-pollinated low-water usage perennials, and heirloom vegetables for the kitchen gardener. We grow plants that no one else grows—whether it’s ultra tall annuals like brilliant orange Mexican Sunflower Tithonia or ‘Kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate’ Persicaria that grows from seed to 8 feet tall and sports intriguing dangling panicles of pink florets, or the fabulous Zalusianskya, a night-scented annual Phlox.

We specialize in plants that have brought joy to gardeners for generations—heirloom zinnias that grow five to six feet tall and bloom all summer with enormous, vibrant flowers in a rainbow of colors, over 75 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, hot and sweet peppers for the gardener who loves to cook, and heirloom sweet peas whose fragrance takes us back in time.

While we are strictly a wholesale nursery that works only with our ten established accounts that we have delivered plants to for nearly 30 years, we do open the farm up to visitors for our annual U-Pick Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Cottage full of heirloom varieties of winter squashes, 30+ varieties, and unusual gourds, and over 20 varieties of pumpkins, as well Matt’s exquisite dried flower creations from his own dried flower garden patch and we always look forward to seeing many of our visitors, their children, grandchildren, and family and friends year after year.
