The City of Delphi has been thrown into turmoil when a mischievous faun topples Pandora’s jar\, unleashing chaos upon Apollo’s city. To restore harmony\, Apollo summons the Muses\, whose inspiration rekindles the arts\, sciences\, and law\, returning Delphi to enlightenment once more! This original production uses the multiple dance forms—Ballet\, Modern\, Contemporary\, Lyrical\, Jazz\, and Tap—to tell a fantastic story inspired by Greek mythology.\nThis annual celebration of dance is a full-scale spectacle that showcases our Blue Heron Dance Company\, all the students enrolled in our dance curriculum. Past performances include Icicle Creek Center for the Arts\, Seattle Art Museum’s Remix\, the Walla Walla Summer Dance Festival\, Benaroya Hall\, Town Hall Seattle\, Global Party at The Moore Theatre\, and Folklife Festival\, as well as many appearances at Capitol Hill’s iconic Century Ballroom. Members train and rehearse at least six hours a week\, and are encouraged to study ballet and hip hop in addition to tap. ATP dancers have gone on to perform with Stomp\, Teatro Zinzanni\, and Chicago Tap Theatre.\n$36 General\n$34 Senior\n$10 Youth (18-)\nAll ticket sales are final. Join us to explore different printmaking techniques and print every day. Carve potatoes and linoleum blocks to create a variety of relief prints on paper and fabric\, exploring a multi-step medium where surprises are part of the process. Think about negative space (what is carved away vs. printed)\, strategically plan\, and then go with the flow when an image or idea morphs as it is reversed\, carved\, and finally printed using various pigments and surfaces. Create cards\, posters\, tote bags\, bandanas and t-shirts.
