The City of Delphi has been thrown into turmoil when a mischievous faun topples Pandora’s jar\, unleashing chaos upon Apollo’s city. To restore harmony\, Apollo summons the Muses\, whose inspiration rekindles the arts\, sciences\, and law\, returning Delphi to enlightenment once more! This original production uses the multiple dance forms—Ballet\, Modern\, Contemporary\, Lyrical\, Jazz\, and Tap—to tell a fantastic story inspired by Greek mythology.\nThis annual celebration of dance is a full-scale spectacle that showcases our Blue Heron Dance Company\, all the students enrolled in our dance curriculum. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 28\, 2025 | 7:30pm\nModern tap dance is taken to a whole new level by Alchemy Tap Project. ATP was founded on the principles of experimentation\, entertainment\, and excellence\, and this energetic and tightly choreographed group delivers all that and more. ATP will blow away any old-fashioned preconceptions about what tap is and all it can be. The Alchemy Tap Project is a Seattle-based performance company for serious tap dancers ages 16 and up. The company was founded on the principles of experimentation\, entertainment\, and excellence. Since its inception in 2012\, ATP has become a regular on stages around the Pacific Northwest. Past performances include Icicle Creek Center for the Arts\, Seattle Art Museum’s Remix\, the Walla Walla Summer Dance Festival\, Benaroya Hall\, Town Hall Seattle\, Global Party at The Moore Theatre\, and Folklife Festival\, as well as many appearances at Capitol Hill’s iconic Century Ballroom. Members train and rehearse at least six hours a week\, and are encouraged to study ballet and hip hop in addition to tap.
